Log of activity

Working with an IBoot G2+.

Is there any way to get a log of activity.

Specifically... the iboot is using Autoping and upon failure reboots a device. Would like to know how often this is happening.

Thanks for the clarification, Sam. Just so I understand this, with those settings, If ping fails, the modem will turn off... 120 seconds later, the modem will turn on and the Sonicwall will turn off... 120 seconds later, the SonicWall will turn on... So both devices will be rebooted in the correct o...

Cycle time not understood

Under Setup: Device Cycletime, I have changed that field from 10 to 30 seconds. I hit save and reset. When I go to the home page, the cycle time listing has changed from 10 to 30 seconds. If I click the checkbox next to main and hit cycle... the unit cycles in ~10 seconds. Why doesn't the cycle time...

The iBoot-G2+ can do this. I assume you have linked the two outlets together, and set the autoping to turn off main. This would make both go off at the same time as you describe. ----Correct... that part works fine. Be sure the Sonic wall is plugged into the EXP1 outlet, and the Cable modem into the...

I have an ibootG2+ and one extension unit. They are connected respectively to a cable modem and a Sonicwall firewall. I want to use auto-ping to achieve the following: Step 1: auto-ping of an external IP fails Cable Modem and Sonicwall both turn off. Step 2: when ping succeeds... turn cable modem on...
