T-APS-R15 SNMP Authentication trap

T-APS-R15 SNMP Authentication trap

Postby evgueny » February 23rd, 2010, 2:36 pm

I was testing SNMP feature on our T-APS-R15 unit and noticed that sustem does not generate SNMP Authentication failure trap in event of SNMP GET command with wrong community string.
Is the trap not supported?

Thanks,

You are correct, the system does not support that specific trap.

There is a trap defined in the MIB for each channel for the following parameters.

loss Of Signal Alarm
unframed All Ones Alarm
lcv Threshold Alarm
crc Threshold Alarm
frame Threshold Alarm
loss Of Frame Alarm
alarm Cleared
