Compiling dxp_1.2 in Visual Studio 2010

Postby nberglund » December 21st, 2012, 12:19 pm

I have noticed that when compiling the dxp_1.2 projection in Visual Studio 2010, under the project properties I need to go to Configuration Properties>C/C++>Code Generation and change the Struct Member Alignment from Default to 1 Byte (/Zp1). Microsoft's default struct alignment pads some of the fields with extra bits otherwise, and the commands sent to the IBoot then fail to contain the correct bit sequences.

I spoke with one of my Engineers, and you are correct.
All DxP structures need to be be byte alligned.
