iBoot-G2+
  • A new version of firmware has been released for the iBoot-G2+ making available the new iBoot Cloud Service - BETA
iBoot-G2 and iBoot-DC
  • A new version of firmware has been released for the iBoot-G2 and iBoot-DC (released 2-27-2014)
  • DNS server availability issues, could cause unit to fall off the cloud
  • This new firmware addresses these issues and allows for added functionality
    Programming the iBoot Cloud Service - BETA as disabled will make the unit function as usual. (default) Click for details on Cloud functions.
Required files: Resolution:
  • Dataprobe recommends that all customers wanting to try the iBoot Cloud BETA feature, upgrade their devices to this version of firmware.

iBoot-G2 and iBoot-DC
  • A new version of firmware has been released for the iBoot-G2 and iBoot-DC improving overall stability, and making available the new iBoot Cloud Service - BETA
The Issue:
  • On Some networks the iBoot would become unresponsive, or slow responding
  • Speed of outlet control improvements
  • Certain conditions could cause iBoot in use message to appear in error
  • iBoot Cloud Service - BETA can be enabled and made available as alternate method to access iBoot through a firewall or dynamically assigned Public IP
  • This new firmware addresses these issues and allows for added functionality

iBoot-G2 and iBoot-G2+
  • New versions of firmware have been released for the iBoot-G2 and iBoot-G2+ improving overall stability and reliability.
The Issue:
  • Occasionally, after making changes to the products configuration that require a reboot,
    the network connection is not reestablished. This renders the iBoot unreachable.
  • In all cases, powering the unit OFF then back ON restores the
    network connection, however doing so requires physical access to the unit.
  • This new firmware corrects this problem and reestablishes a network connection without user intervention.

  • Dataprobe recommends that all customers upgrade their devices to the latest firmware.
